2007 Slideshow

A brief description of this slide show. First, the old house is a house Bill's Grandpa Golden lived in, in St. Charles, ID. We visited it last summer at the Linford Reunion. I have no idea why it's the cover photo, I think it was randomly selected. I put this slide show together for our family to watch on New Year's Eve. It's meant to be the highlights of 2007. It starts with a hike we took on New Year's Day and ends with a walk on the beach on Christmas. Some things to look for: a family hike with a freeway sign in the distance (only in S. California), John and Will skinny dipping in Yellowstone and the possum who lives in our backyard.

That was great. Watching it made me realize how much we miss out knowing your kids better and just on all the fun times with you guys. We really miss your family a lot.

Completely lovely! Thanks for posting it. What was the song?

It is the cover photo because it is gorgeous and you want to live in it by just seeing the picture.

Love the song.

I am still entertained about the bell ringing incident. Bill just cracks himself up too much.

Please move back.

The song is "I'm not going anywhere" by Keren Ann from the album Departure Lounge. This is the only song I've heard of hers. Bill says the others aren't as good.

Thanks for all your kind comments. The good thing about blogging is the opportunity it gives us to stay in touch with our friends and family scattered across the country. Ruth

We miss the Mitchells!! It was beautiful.

Also, if you have an opposum living in your backyard you should read the book There’s an Opossum in My Backyard by Gary Bogue. We randomly got it from the library a few weeks ago and the kids liked it. They'd like it even more if we really had one in our backyard. Not that I'd really want one in our yard. But if you've got one, you might as well make the most of it!
