Perry in the Freezer and other good stuff

I've been meaning to post this photo of Perry's head in our freezer. It's John leftover birthday cake from his Phineas and Ferb party. It was ice cream cake, hence the freezer. I almost didn't throw this party. I just wasn't in a party throwing mood but then my sister came in town and we put the party together in 24 hours. She wrote a great blog about her visit and the party and Dr. Doofenshmirtz left a comment on her blog.

She came for John's baptism.  John's baptism was sweet and after we had a fun party where we served John's absolute favorite food: chicken pot pie.

We are all big Hunger Games fans in our family so much so that Lizzy made these amazing t-shirts to see the movie.  And yes that's gold glitter. Two months later and there's still glitter on my ironing board.

Sofi had a small industry going this winter as she made Hunger Games T-shirts for herself and friends. She doesn't have any plain white T-shirts left. Lizzy's shirts look awesome!

Happy Birthday to Jon and congratulations on his baptism.

Dear Ruth,
Awesome cake! You and Michelle created another memorable birthday which John will always remember. I love the photo of Bill and John. I really don't understand the "Hunger Games" interest, but am always pleased to see my grandaugthers happy. Thank you for sharing.
Love,
Dad
